Holiday Photos

Granna got my pictures take while we were in Texas and I thought I should share them with you. Mom thinks they are the best pictures of me ever, and I have to agree that they're pretty cute!

Merry Christmas!!

Santa Clause says "Ho Ho Ho!". I had a great day the last few days. To start, mom and dad BOTH had 4 days off in a row, which doesn't happy very often. So we had a really nice holiday week all together. Mom and I did a lot of shopping. I didn't understand why at first but I didn't mind either because I love being outside. Yesterday morning when I woke up there was the biggest surprise downstairs! Lots of presents for me! The first thing I saw was a big car that dad picked out special just for me. I loved it so much I didn't care about anything else! I got really mad when they put it in the garage but then I realized there was more great stuff to open up so I wasn't so mad anymore. I'm saying a lot of new words these days and mom and dad thought it was especially cute when I would open presents I would say 'Oooohhh!'. I had the best time and I got a lot of cool toys. My Mimi came over the day before and gave me some really cute Vermont stuff and a bull stuffed animal and he might just be my best friend now! Mom and dad got me a bunch. I got shoes, clothes, little people town, elmo farm set, books,potty seat, snacks and a really awesome pirate ship. Then Grandpa came over and gave me a bike! And a little dog that barks and does things I tell it too. He also got me some clothes. We all went to dinner at Aunt Doreen's house and ate some lasagne. I was a little overtired at that point and we needed to get home so I could sleep! I was sleeping before we even got home! Around 9 Dad woke me up by accident and I could not go to sleep, I just wanted to play, play, play! Today was the real Christmas day and dad had to work so we let him sleep and I played with my toys. Grandpa DeGoosh took us all out to eat at a fancy restaurant and then me and mom came home and woke daddy up. Mom watched some cartoons with me until I fell asleep. I had the best day ever!

I should mention that even though my Granna and Papaw weren't here I thought about them a lot today. I had a really good Christmas with them in Mabank and I still love my gifts I got! I got a cell phone, a dinosaur, clothes, a time-out chair and Mom and Dad got enough money to by me a new bedroom!! Thanks again Granna and Papaw, I miss you!

New baby brother pictures!

I was so excited about the snow I forgot to share the newest pictures of my baby brother! Mom got these pictures taken in her belly about a week ago.

Holy smokes it's snowing in Vegas!!!!!!

It was so cold this morning that mom wouldn't let me go shopping with her. And when she came home she told me and dad that all the mountains were white with snow! Then at 3 today it started snowing on our yard!!!! By 7 tonight we had a couple inches and me and dad built a snowman. YAY for a white Christmas!!!

A Fun Trip!

We went to Texas this week to see my Granna and Papaw. We got to have Christmas and I got a lot of nice presents!! This was the first time I got to go to my daddy's house and I had a great time. We went to the mall and I got to play in the play area and I got my picture taken. Then we went to church and I played in the nursery with Jamie and we all went to lunch after. I was kind of bad at lunch time but I think the family thought I was funny since my daddy was kind of bad when he was little too. I spent a lot of time with Granna and I made a new friend named Mason. He is my cousin and he was so much fun! The plane rides were long both ways and I didn't want to sleep so Mom and Dad were cranky but it was still fun! We didn't take any pictures in Texas (Mom can't believe it!) but we did get a couple in the airport I can share.





The night before we left Mom and I went to TGI Fridays to say good bye to one of her good friends who is moving to Italy. She took these cute pics of me in the casino.

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree!

So we got our Christmas tree last night. It is beautiful. Mom says it's the tallest tree we've ever had. It wouldn't have fit in the house if we didn't shave some off the bottom and a little off the top, but now it fits perfect!! I got to help decorate and now it is the prettiest tree ever. We decided to do colored lights for the first time this year because Mom thought I would like them better. Here I am decorating and the finished result!

There are already some presents under the tree. I wonder who they could be for?!?! I've been doing a pretty good job at not touching them but the suspense is killing me! I keep pulling the bows off because I think it's funny how mad Mom gets at me, haha.

Oh and look at me in my big boy bed! This is my third night sleeping in there! I didn't last long the first night but last night I slept the whole night through and then climbed in bed with Mom and Dad to watch cartoons this morning. I'm planning on doing the same tonight.

Thanksgiving

I don't remember Thanksgiving last year and Mom says that it's because I couldn't eat food yet. I guess that's what Thanksgiving is all about! Well, Mom says it's about being thankful for all you have and the ones you love too... but let's get back to the food! I ate like a pig!!

The night before Mom was a baking fool! She made 8 loaves of pumpkin cranberry bread which came out so good she gave some to our neighbors. She also made 3 apple pies and a chocolate pie, mmmm... my favorite! Here I am licking the spoon.



On Thanksgiving day we went to my great-aunt Cathy's. All of the family was there but Grandpa had to work. I played a little when we got there and mom read me some books but I was starving. I didn't wait for everyone else to sit down, Aunt Cathy let me be the first to dig in! It was so good! Mom says she never saw me eat so much. After I ate I took a looooong nap and then got up and ate leftovers. To me, that is what Thanksgiving is all about!

Whooeee Look At Me!!

This is me and my new monkey leash! Mom took me for a walk with it the other day and I really liked it because I can go wherever I want and Mom won't let me get run over by a car.





Aunt Ashley sent me a Vermont shirt and I love it so much I want to wear it every day! Thanks Aunt Ashley!!
