Rock On!

We have 7 tons, yes 7 TONS of dirt and rock coming to our home tomorrow! I think Daddy is crazy. He's done a lot of work on it already and Mom is really impressed at how well he has done. We got to go pick out a bunch of plants out from the Nursery the other day. The plants made a world of difference! I can't wait to show you pictures.

Mom got me a ball pit. The balls came first so she put them in the pack and play. It was the most fun ever! I was jumping on my belly and laying on my back. It's like I was swimming! I stayed in there a long time. I have to enjoy them because mom says I can't have anymore toys until my birthday. I don't mind though because I'd rather play with grown-up things anyway, like the remote and the tupperwares. I think that's why I'm not getting anymore. Here are some pictures of the balls!





Here are some photos of my Aunt Ashley. She is so much fun. She knows exactly how I like to play. She has a job with kids and I think that is why she is so much fun. She is also my Godmother.










Mom let me have some whole milk the other day. It was so tasty! I have a video to share with you! And yes that is a monster bruise on my forehead. I ran into the coffee table at Mimi and Papa's house.



I'd like to give a quit shout out to my Granna and Papaw Cross in Texas. This is the longest I have ever gone without seeing them. I miss them a lot and I know that they miss me. We are going to colorado in 3 weeks and we're going to go fishing together! I can't wait. Then they are going to come to Las Vegas for my birthday! I can't wait to see you Granna and Papaw! You won't believe how big I've grown!

Planting Plants

Today Dad is fixing up the backyard. Well, he is doing more than fixing up, he dug up the whole thing! He is putting in fake grass so I can play outdoors. I love to be outdoors so much I don't care that the rocks hurt my legs, but to be honest, I'm looking forward to the grass. We went to the plant store and mom pulled me around in a wagon. I really got to get one of those for home because I really loved it! Maybe I'll get one for my birthday (hint- hint!)which is in August. I'm going to be one year old! We've already got the birthday invitations and I want to show you but mom says it's too early. I learned about the dog door this week. I learned that if you put things outside it's hard to get them back in without mom and dad's help. I think it's kind of fun to make them work so sometimes I throw a lot of stuff out there. Well, sometimes they ignore me throwing my toys out there so I tried to get them myself. It's a whole new world on the other side of the doggy door. It brings you outside and you all know that is my favorite place so I keep going out! Mom gets kind of mad at me and makes me go inside so now when I see her, I take off as fast as I can! Yesterday that meant crawling across the rocks (ouch!) and since she had bare feet I got away pretty good. She was mad though (hee hee hee).

Bubbles

Mom has been slacking lately and I think I need to do some catching up! First of all, here are the pictures from her birthday party. She got her hair done and her toes painted and then we went to dinner.





Mom and Dad got me this awesome bubble blower! It spits out so many bubbles! At first I didn't know if I liked it because they were just flying at my face, but now I'm used to it.









My Aunt Ashley is in town for the week and she is so much fun. She got me the cutest new shirt and I love it. It says, 'Duck, Duck, Moose!' Get it? It's a Vermont shirt. We went swimming today and I had a great time. I think we are going to go again tomorrow so I'll make sure to have mom take some pictures to show you.

With the exception of curtains and a new entertainment center the downstair level is finished!!

Almost Done!

Well the good news is that we are all moved in and the old house is clean and we said our good-byes! The not so good news is that we still have a lot of work to do!! I'm almost ready to show you the final pictures! Mom and Dad have been wondering why I've been up at 5:15 am the last three mornings but it's because they have been leaving my blinds open and the sun shines right in! I like it... but I don't think they do. Honey and Bentley have been really good dogs since we moved in. They haven't had any accidents and Mom's been letting them sleep upstairs in her room just like they used to. I think they really like that, and I do too since we spend a lot of time upstairs at night time and Honey is my best friend. Sometimes they growl at the golfers in our backyard but they've hardly barked at all. I'm proud of them!! Tomorrow the rest of our kitchen will come and Mom is EXCITED!! It is coming Friday which is just in time for her birthday on Saturday! She is turning into an old woman just like Daddy, well except Daddy is a man. She is going to be 25 just like him. She says she feels like she is falling apart but I think she is silly. She told me now all she has to look forward is my birthdays, whatever that means. Did I tell you that my Uncle Brandon and Aunt Tiffany are getting married? They are coming to LAS VEGAS! YAY! I'll keep you posted on that. I'm getting really good at walking. I'm walking everywhere now. I'm not scared anymore and I let go on my own. I still take only like 6-7 steps and then I crawl but Mom says it's because I'm lazy. Well, I'm going to go for now. I'm going to Mary Ann's today and I'm happy to see my friends. I really missed Mom last week because she was so busy, but we had a really good day together yesterday and I think I'm really to go back now.

I LOVE Spaghetti!

We're almost moved in!

Mom and dad are exhausted. The house finally closed (opened) and they spent the whole day painting the downstairs. We did not have to move until June 30th so they were taking their time moving things. Well then the landlord called and asked us to be out June 15th!!! So mom and dad worked their butts off and almost everything is moved. We would be sleeping there right now but mom wanted to wait one more day since the bug guy just sprayed. She hates bugs. I got to see my room!! It is so cute. They painted it to match my bedding and I like it a lot. My crib is at the old house because that is wehre we are still sleeping. And my wall pictures aren't there yet either but you get the idea. Here are some before and after shots.




And here is the rest of the house. It is still a work in progress!! Mom says they need to paint the base boards and the rest of the kitchen won't be here until June 20th. That makes me happy because that means I get to go out to eat!!







I'm not sure if you can tell but the kitchen is a light yellow and the living room is green. My room is green and yellow too but different shades!

Mom was so excited to finally use her new washer! We all sat there and watched the clothes go around and around. It's the kind that you put the clothes in the front.

I feel like there is so much more to tell!! Mom and I had lunch with her lady friends from the diaper board last week which meant I got to see my friend Isaac again. The battery was dead in the camera and we were only able to get one picture, but she thinks she can get some more from her friend Yara.



Our good friends Kristy and Vic got married! Here is mom with all of her girly friends after the ceremony...


The last we heard my great-papaw Bobby was going to be getting out of the hospital! YAY! But I have to check and make sure. Thank you for all your prayers ;)

We've been busy!

I can't tell you what we've been doing but I can say we've been doing A LOT! It seems like every day we have a whole list of things to do. Mom can't find her camera cord or else she would put some new pictures up of me. Our new house should close today. I think it's so silly they say it's closing because really it's opening, opening it's doors to us!! I can't wait to see my new room. Mom has all the paint picked out and everything. I'm getting pretty good at walking. I'm not afraid to let go by myself and walk now. I went to my friend Potter's birthday party yesterday. It was so much fun!! I know that I told you I love watermelon but it is seriously my favorite thing EVER! I could eat watermelon all day long, every day! Potter had some at his birthday party. He also had cake and Dad gave me some when Mom wasn't looking :) It was pretty good stuff! Mom says I get to have cake really soon at my own birthday party. She has my whole party planned out already, she is so excited! I'm pretty excited too. I hope that a lot of people come to celebrate.

Well, I'm going to go help Mom look for her camera cord and when we find it we will show you all the new pictures we have taken lately. I'm getting cuter every day- haha!

Keep your fingers crossed that our house closes (opens) on time today!
